Competition & Market Sizing

17.11.2025 | 11:00 am -12:00 pm or 16:00 pm -17:00 pm (GMT+3)

Identify direct/indirect competitors, position your differentiation, and estimate market size (TAM/SAM/SOM) to guide go-to-market focus.

Competition & Market Sizing Mentoring/Training Program Content

Investors will ask you about your market size and competitive landscape in every pitch—and “we have no competition” is the worst possible answer. This session teaches you how to credibly size your market opportunity using TAM/SAM/SOM frameworks, defend your numbers with solid research, and position your startup within the competitive landscape in a way that shows you understand the space without sounding naive. You’ll learn where to find reliable market data, how to build bottom-up projections that investors actually believe, and when a “smaller” market is actually more compelling than going after an impossibly large one.

We’ll also dive deep into competitive analysis: identifying direct and indirect competitors, understanding what incumbents are doing wrong (and right), and articulating your defensible differentiators. You’ll learn to create competitive positioning maps, analyze where white space exists, and tell the story of why now is the right time for your solution. This isn’t about trashing competitors—it’s about demonstrating market awareness, strategic thinking, and a clear path to winning your category. You’ll walk away with frameworks you can immediately apply to strengthen both your pitch and your strategy.
